Huawei Sri Lanka is pleased to announce that a team from the University of Moratuwa has successfully advanced to the Huawei ICT Competition 2023–2024 Global Finals and Regional Award Ceremony of the Huawei ICT Competition 2023 – 2024. This marks a historic moment as it is the first time a team from Sri Lanka will represent the country in the Huawei Asia Pacific finals of the competition.
The University of Moratuwa team showcased exceptional skills and expertise in the Cloud Track of the Regional Huawei ICT Competition 2024, earning them a coveted spot in the Asia Pacific Finals and Award Ceremony, which will be held in Indonesia. The final ranking of the team will be announced during the awards ceremony.
Vice President of Huawei Enterprise Business Group, Ni Xiaopeng, expressed his delight at the University of Moratuwa team’s advancement to the Asia Pacific Finals. He emphasized that this accomplishment is an evidence to the collaborative efforts of students, educators, and the broader educational ecosystem.
